The signs of the approaching fall are upon us.
There are still quite a few sea turtle nests left, but the number is waning.
In my experience, it always seems like the fishing boats are most prevalent in the fall. These days, it’s hard not to spend much time on the ocean and not see several.Â
The crowds are mostly gone. We had this little spot by the beach, always packed during the tourist season, virtually to ourselves. My oldest son, my daughter, and SpongeBob had great fun exploring the wide open space.
Truly, fall is the best time of year on the island.
Don’t tell the tourists.
