While I wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t running, I thought about Thanksgiving,\nand about how life can be filled with strange blessings and rugged beauty that\nis sometimes most present in the rebuilding of what has been lost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Living by the ocean has taught me much about swift\nand sudden change, about life\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s give and take, about the ebb and flow that\nexists, in some form, in all things. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve learned, through my years of\nwatching, of how even something as vast as the Atlantic can change in a\nhalf-breath, of how it is no less subject to the laws of nature than we are\nourselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope, whether our seas are charged or still,\nthat we all may find reasons to give thanks this year.
