As I was going through pictures yesterday, it occurred to me how many shots I have of all three of my male family members where they are mostly, if not entirely, submerged in a wave. As I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve mentioned before, we are not merpeople<\/a>, but we do manage to make the most of the water.<\/p>\n

Case in point: I have scads of these, but here are just a few pictures, some the result of mistiming, taken during this last weekend alone.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s my youngest boy, the one who\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a little more, well, respectful of the Atlantic\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s power. He boogie boards for what seems like forever,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>and then suddenly, despite his long-held hesitation, he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s submerged.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s my oldest boy, who\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been like this since we moved down here when he was barely two years old.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>He\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s floating,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>and now he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s diving under the waves, again and again.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s my man-boy, LCB (Loquacious Cabana Boy: If you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re new here, a giant welcome, and, to make a weak attempt at recap, the name began with this<\/a>, grew with this<\/a>, and the rest is, well, as they say).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s his arm. I have many, many shots of his arm.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Yes, he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s inside that wave.<\/p>\n

Out of respect for my marriage, I won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t post some of his facial expressions I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve managed to capture.<\/p>\n
