This afternoon, we were joined by a small friend we haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t seen in quite a few weeks.<\/p>\n

Actually, make that two<\/em> small friends.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>As I was standing inside the house looking out on the deck, I noticed a small, brown shape moving slowly across the deck. When I stepped outside, I saw this little guy.<\/p>\n

I walked back inside, called the small people, and stepped out again. One at a time, the kids slipped outside to check out the gecko.<\/p>\n

Then, as we were standing there, I saw a flash of green out of the corner of my eye, and suddenly we were all creeping over to the other side of the deck.<\/p>\n

I have no idea why, after many weeks without one single gecko sighting, we suddenly had two at once. The two geckos didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t appear to be together, either, which seems a bit strange to me. Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t they want to hang out with their own kind? In truth, I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know the social habits of geckos and whether they tend to hang out in groups or as singletons, but these geckos were on opposite sides of the deck and appeared to be oblivious to each other.<\/p>\n

Then again, maybe they were married.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>Anyhow, the green gecko moved around the side of the house, so the small people all moved back to the brown gecko, crouched low, and watched it crawl about the deck.<\/p>\n

At one point, even LCB crouched down low to watch the gecko. I won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t show the picture of that, however, as it shows LCB\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s pre-bald spot<\/span> distinguished signs of aging in a slightly unfavorable light.<\/p>\n
